In 2006, Roland Berger Strategy Consultants funded the production of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's opera "The Magic Flute" at the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera in Warsaw, Poland. This performance was staged by German director Achim Freyer as part of the celebrations for the 250th anniversary of Mozart's birth. Bertold Brecht's disciple Freyer is one of the greatest contemporary painters and set designers of the opera stage.

This new production of Mozart's last opera premiered on June 16, 2006. Further performances took place on June 18 and June 21. The international strategy consultancy sponsored this project in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut in Warsaw.

In addition, Roland Berger Strategy Consultants is supporting the expansion of the International Cultural Centre (ICC) in Krakow. On April 20, 2007, the cornerstone ceremony for expanding the annex was held; the opening is planned for autumn 2008. The upgrade will include building the "Roland Berger Reading Room", a multimedia reading room on the third floor. The consultancy is cooperating with the Goethe-Institut in Krakow on this project.
